October 8,2005. Call went out when Assistant Chief Ed Kroll spotted a vehicle spinning in the water of the flooded Perkiomen Creek on Spring Mount Rd. The driver was then rescued by the L. F. Fire company and Mont Clare water rescue boat. The victim was clinging to a tree about 100 yards from his car.
