Dec. 9th 2005 - Lower Frederick assisting on a Tylersport structure fire along with many other area companies. The call went out for all units for a home on the top of Hausman Road, which was fully involved. A very hazardous call for all trucks responding. The winter storm had covered roads creating layers of slippery surfaces.   All units were again called out that evening for rekindling at the sight. Tylersport recalled all units from this and handled the situation. The family of 9 lost everything.

As you can see the home, that sat atop the boulders, had burned completely and crumbled down the side of the hill catching other objects on the property on fire also.

Firemen worked very hard in the bad conditions to draft from the creek and run water up the hill to the trucks that were at the top.
